A FEMA mass vaccination site opens Wednesday morning at 8 at the Washington Avenue Armory in Albany. For one week, people in 11 zip codes in Albany, Schenectady, and Rensselaer counties can get vaccinated at the Armory site.
This is only a test. Today at 2pm EST all radio television and satellite channels will be conducting a test of the National Emergency Alert System. Do not be alarmed when you hear those tones on all stations. The test today is part of an ongoing effort to keep our country and communities safe during an emergency.
