By now, we’re all familiar with Courtney Love’s rock-star ways, but she recently revealed a new side of herself – her hip-hop side. On Jan. 21 at the Sundance Film Festival's Star Bar, the sometime Hole frontwoman put her own unique spin on Jay-Z’s '99 Problems.'

Although their relationship has been rocky and very much in the public eye, Courtney Love and her estranged daughter Frances Bean Cobain are communicating again. Of course, most of the dialogue is coming courtesy of Love, but hey, at least it's a start.

Courtney Love has set the wheels in motion on a documentary about her late husband Kurt Cobain. She has reached out to filmmaker Brett Morgen, the man behind the current Rolling Stones documentary 'Crossfire Hurricane,' to oversee a project based on the life of the late Nirvana frontman

She hasn't released an album in a couple of years, but that doesn't mean Courtney Love isn't busy -- in fact, if one recent report is correct, she's getting ready to revisit Kurt Cobain's legacy with a musical inspired by his early years in Nirvana.

Last week, pop singer Lana Del Ray performed a cover of Nirvana's Heart Shaped Box in Australia and did a really good job of it.  Her performance must have really upset Kurt Cobain's widow Courtney Love as she tweeted to Lana the real meaning of the song.
