Tomorrow marks the four month anniversary of GWAR guitarist Flattus Maximus, AKA Cory Smoot's death. The band have since moved on, without forgetting their beloved member, whose character they have decided to retire. Good things have been coming for the quartet, and now they have announced that they are in the process of working on a brand new album.

GWAR Cancels Their Scheduled European Tour

Old-school theatrical rockers GWAR were scheduled to kick off 2012 with a European tour, but sadly, the band have decided to cancel, which means more bad news for their fans following the November death of their guitarist Cory Smoot, or Flattus Maximus. The reason for the cancellation, however, supposedly has nothing to do with the passing of their beloved member.

It's been a whole month since 34-year-old GWAR guitarist Cory Smoot, AKA Flattus Maximus, was found dead on the band's tour bus by his fellow band members. His family and friends have not only had to deal with a huge loss, but also the unknown- the reason for his death. The coroner has completed the autopsy and has determined the cause of death.
