The Tulip Queen will serve as Albany's Ambassador for a year.  She and her court will help in volunteer projects throughout the city and attend numerous events focusing on education and community awareness.  Each finalist had to be nominated as an extraordinary local leader and make it through a series of interviews in order to become the Tulip Queen.
