Horrible news out of Chicago this Memorial Day weekend, as a man died while making his way onto a catwalk at a Chevelle concert at the Aragon Ballroom.
Judging by the early returns, Chevelle should have a big 2014! The band's 'La Gargola' album gave the group their highest debut ever, arriving at No. 3, and the first single, 'Take Out the Gunman,' has raced up the song charts ever since its release earlier this year. With the momentum going strong, the band is looking to capitalize on that and they've just announced more dates for this summer.

Chevelle are still a few weeks away from releasing their 'La Gargola' album, but it's shaping up to be a killer record. The band has already released their rapidly rising single, 'Take Out the Gunman,' and now they're giving fans a taste of a new track called 'Hunter Eats Hunter.'
Chevelle are giving fans yet another reason to be excited about their new album. The next step leading up to the release of the 'La Gargola' album is the band unveiling the artwork and track listing for their new disc.
While many bands are shutting down for the end of the year, this is also the time when a lot of groups take advantage of a respite from the road to begin work on new music. One of those bands is Chevelle, who are working on a new album.
Chevelle will finish out 2012 with their greatest hits collection, 'Stray Arrows: A Collection of Favorites,' and as with most hits compilations, there's at least one or two new songs tacked on. In this case, fans will have a chance to check out 'Fizgig,' a track that upon first listen fits perfectly right alongside of the rest of the band's favorites.
The stage can be a dangerous place, and Chevelle singer-guitarist Pete Loeffler found that out firsthand Monday night (Oct. 8) in Tucson when he took a tumble off the front of the stage.
Chevelle has been rocking for awhile now. I always loved and listened to there music. Their latest cd ROCKS!! So tonight Chevelle is my crush of the night.
