Bostonians were intermittently given orders to clear the streets and stay at home so that police and first responders could do their jobs
Boston Strong! Police have arrested bombing suspect Dzhokar Tsarnaev. A resident noticed blood on the cover of a boat stored in their yard and called police. Authorities flew over in a helicopter with thermal imaging and detected an individual inside the boat upon which time they closed in. The FBI used a robot to remove the tarp from the boat and to throw in 'flash bang' grenades, which are harmless - they make loud bangs and give a bright flash. The second suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing has been captured. Dzokhar Tsarnaev was taken into police custody Friday night -- five days after the bombing that left three dead and left more than 100 injured, police said. The 19-year-old was apprehended after a manhunt that began Thursday night with the fatal shooting of an MIT officer and extended into the evening hours on Friday.
Late Thursday afternoon (4/18) the FBI held a press conference regarding the bombings at the Boston Marathon which occurred in Boston on Monday. Here is the latest information that the FBI released to the media regarding this act of terror.

UPDATE @2:21: This is helicopter footage of the Federal Courthouse in that is from Twitter - AP and CNN are reporting that the suspect has been brought here. However, someone can be taken into custody without there being an arrest. No officials have made a statement regarding a suspect in custody and we are reporting based on information from CNN and the Associated Press.

According to reports on major national media, CNN has broken the story that the FBI has obtained clear footage of a suspect in the Boston bombings. The footage originated from a department story surveillance camera and was used to locate other footage that included images of the suspect from a Boston TV station.
