Whenever a team wins a championship they get to visit the White House for a quick congratulations and photo opportunity with the President.  The Boston Bruins had that opportunity, but their goalie and MVP Tim Thomas decided to skip out because he is not happy with the politicians in this country.

The Bruins were very happy after winning the 2011 Stanley Cup and what better way to celebrate with a one or two drinks?  If that were only the case.

For the first time since 1972 the Boston Bruins are the Stanley Cup champions.  The championship dreams of the Vancouver Canucks are once again halted.

Alright sports fans, even if you’re not into hockey, you must have some appreciation for a game 7. And although the home team has won every game in this series, I think the Bruins will break the chain in Vancouver tonight.

Game 6 went the way the Boston Bruins wanted it too last night.  They beat the Vancouver Canucks 5-2 to force game 7 on Wednesday night.

Not only does this feel like it’s a series now, but it’s pretty funny to watch this finger biting routine too. At anytime it seems it could turn into a WWE event with someone jumping of the top of the glass or something.

We are heading into the championships of both the NBA and NHL seasons and while some teams are finding success, others are struggling at the tail end.
