Last year we were somewhat disappointed, if not altogether unsurprised to see that Amazon had rejected the 'Zombieland' pilot in favor to 'Betas' and 'Alpha House,' but the studio's second round of original series has proven much more ambitious. Of five pilots previously made available to stream, Amazon has impressively given series orders to four, including Jeffrey Tambor's critically-lauded 'Transparent,' and 'X-Files' creator Chris Carter's post-apocalyptic drama 'The After.'
