Black Stone Cherry the opening band for Alter Bridge Wednesday May 18th at Northern Lights have confirmed that they will be stopping by the Q103 studios around 3pm that day for an acoustic performance and on air interview.

If you weren't already aware, I am a HUGE fan of Craig Owens' new band D.R.U.G.S (Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows). Whenever there's news on them, I post it. If you haven't yet heard their new, self-titled debut album, go get it now! Here is a video of an acoustic performance of their song "Graveyard Dancing."

This an acoustic version of the Sick Puppies latest single "Rip Tide".  It is an awesome version of the song too.  I think it was Tom Morello that said that if something doesn't sound good acoustically, it's not worth playing.

Soundgarden front man Chris Cornell played a short acoustic set at the Belmont Hotel in Austin, Texas this past Saturday night.  It was a bit of a warm up for the solo tour he has coming up at the end of the month.  Lucky for us one concert goer had his camera ready and got the first song on tape before security found them.
