They are not only an exceptional group, but they are amazing people with big hearts. Their fourth studio album, Amaryllis is set to drop March 27. The first single off of the album, "Bully" can be heard acoustically after the jump.

From the moment that Chris Cornell walked on stage amid a backdrop of only acoustic guitars you knew you were in for an amazing night.  After being on stage alone for two hours, 20 minutes and 26 songs, the front man for Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog delivered an incredible sold out performance at the Egg.

Here’s some great news if you weren’t lucky enough to score some tickets for Chris Cornell’s acoustic performance at the Egg on Nov. 17th. Just 4 days afterwards, Cornell will release the ‘Songbook’ cd.

Seems like all of rock's front men are doing acoustic tours now.  Aaron Lewis, Sully Erna, Chris Cornell and now add Stone Sour & Slipknot front man Corey Taylor to that list.   Corey Taylor plans to launch an American acoustic tour this fall.

Chris Cornell continues to promote his acoustic tour by making the rounds on the late night shows.  Jimmy Kimmel Live is his next stop.  He'll perform on Kimmel's October 13 show.

Chris Cornell is currently out on an acoustic tour (Albany On November 17) and he has been making the round of various shows performing his new song "The Keeper".  It's a very mellow acoustic tune that will be on the sound track of the movie Machine Gun Preacher, which is currently in theaters and stars Gerrard Butler.  This is the brand new music video for the song.
