It might seem unfathomable that a high-profile hard rock vocalist moonlights as a burgeoning country singer, but then again, few hard rock singers possess the breadth and scope of talent of Staind‘s Aaron Lewis. Lewis just released his brand new solo song ‘Anywhere But Here,’ which features twangy guitars and his inimitable, soul stirring and richly emotional vocals.
Staind are heating up radio with their hard-rocking new single ‘Eyes Wide Open’ off of their 2011 self-titled disc, and now Loudwire is proud to exclusively premiere the music video for the tune. The clip shows the band tearing up the stage in front of an energetic crowd, as frontman Aaron Lewis and company deliver the punishing track to their devoted fans.
Concert headliners Godsmack have just announced the dates and locations for their two-month tour that will take up the months of April and May. They will be joined on stage by other major names Staind and Halestorm. The tour, which is named the Mass Chaos Tour, kicks off April 13 and wraps up May 18. Halestorm front woman Lzzy Hale is pretty excited about the bands upcoming tour in 2012. That's because they will be joining Godsmack and Staind as they hit the road together.
A few weeks ago, a short video was released that showcased highlights of Staind's tour that are going to be part of their documentary, and a few tidbits of their show here in Albany were even included. Now that their tour is over, the band have posted a new, 10-minute video that recaptures all of the best moments from the tour. The video can be seen after the jump.
Staind performed in Albany at the Washington Avenue Armory for the Q103 Thanksgiving Hangover. The band was filming for a documentary that will be released in 2012. We were able to obtain the exclusive footage from the Albany soundcheck, meet n greet and show that will be used in the documentary. Watch the video and see if you made the cut.
This past weekend, Q103 celebrated the holiday with the Thanksgiving Hangover show at The Armory in Albany, which featured headliners Staind, as well as openers Egypt Central and Pipebomb. Hopefully you and your friends joined us for the event, and if you didn't, then you missed out on an amazing show that included beer specials, mosh pits (yes, that is what I said) and bras being thrown on stage.
