Q-Ruption performers Staind stopped by to talk to Mike Adams about touring,smoking and the success of their new album, as they prepare to rock the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.

Staind just wrapped up their act on the main stage of Q-Ruption 2012. After five number one hits and 15 million albums sold in their 17 year career, they've proven tonight that they've still got it!

Dalton spent the day on the air interviewing several of the bands that were performing at #qruption and sharing the happenings backstage. Check out some photos of the broadcast and some of the artists that stopped by including Aaron Lewis.

Bad news for Papa Roach fans - Jacoby Shaddix has been diagnosed with with a vocal chord issue and will have to undergo surgery to remove the nodule and prevent future damage. There is however a silver lining for fans who will be attending the show - longer set times for the other bands.

It seems as though we are hearing more and more stories about bands stopping on stage mid-performance to deliver a message to the crowd or one person in particular. Today is a big day- not only does In This Moment's new album Blood debut, but Staind also release their DVD 'Live From Mohegan Sun.' Check out the video below of their performance of "Something To Remind You."

The countdown is on.  Labor Day Weekend and September 1st will be here before you know it, that weekend marks the biggest rock festival to hit the Capital Region this summer.  The Q103  Q-Ruption is the Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival and will begin to erupt at 1:30pm.

Aaron Lewis has taken time away from Staind in the past, but the fact that the group is calling their upcoming break a “hiatus” initially raised a few eyebrows, especially given that they finished their last album with longtime drummer Jon Wysocki leaving the band.

It’s hard to believe that throughout their 17-year career together, Staind have never released an official live disc, but all that changes this summer when ‘Live From Mohegan Sun’ makes its debut in several formats. The CD version will be available on July 10 followed by the DVD/Blu-ray out on Aug. 14.
