When I first heard about the current version of Taco Bell's Doritos Locos Tacos, I thought to myself that a taco with a nacho cheese Doritos shell would be a little gross. As it turns out, it is one of the greatest culinary achievements in fast food history.

Of course, a great achievement in the lore of fast food can just mean serving a meal that doesn't have a stray body part in it, so that doesn't say much. However, if Taco Bell follows through with something it hinted at earlier this week, it could create a great achievement in overall food history.

That's right, Taco Bell is suggesting that a Doritos Locos Taco with a Cool Ranch flavored shell could be in the works this year. I haven't stopped salivating since hearing the news. No, seriously, I'm feeling really dehydrated and my clothes are soaked. This is becoming a problem.

Everyone knows that cool ranch Doritos are infinitely better than their nacho cheese counterparts. I mean way better. Like, we're comparing Metallica to Creed here. Yeah, they're both technically musicians, but the only way I'm running to Creed first is if Metallica is nowhere to be found.

I really can't wait to get my hands on one of these bad boys and, by one, I mean an entire pickup truck bed full.
