Last week the New York metro area saw close to 12 inches of snow fall. This week, weathermen are on high alert as the Super Bowl approaches.

This week at the National Football League headquarters in New York meteorologist Jason Bateman has daily meetings set with officials to discuss the weather for this Sunday's big game. And the pressure is on!

By the way, officials aren't looking for a random forecast. I'll put it to you this way- They want to know what the wind speed will be at kickoff and if snow falls, they want an exact time the first flake will hit the ground. They also have an army of national forecasters and weather aficionados helping out. They are not playing around!
