Despite the fact that the leaves are beginning to change there are still some signs of summer left!

Although September is all but here, leaves are beginning to fall, and pumpkin spice everything is already coming out, summer is NOT over yet!

The 197th opening day of the Schaghticoke Fair happens tomorrow (Wednesday, August 31) starting at noon and ending at 10 p.m. General admission tickets will run you $5 on opening day, and $11 for the rest of the fair which will continue through Labor Day and will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Children ages 13 and younger get in free but season tickets are also available for $40 if you plan on attending multiple days. Parking for this one is FREE!

So get out and get in that last bit of summer and enjoy all that the Schaghticoke Fair has to offer. Especially all the AMAZING fair food and all those great fair attractions like the Wild World of Animals Show, an aerial escape artist, the World of Wonder - Big Top Show, the Buffalo Barfield Music Show, and the racing pigs (yes, this a thing and apparently it is super popular).

If you need more info on whats up at the Schaghticoke Fair you can visit their website or check out this great write up from the Troy Record.
