It's no secret that Taco Bell is freaking delicious. Apparently, however, it is so delicious that its own employees can't help but taste their product before they sell it to us, as evidenced by a Facebook photo taken by a Taco Bell employee showing one worker licking a stack of taco shells.

Now, the only way that this is acceptable behavior is if these were cool ranch flavored Doritos Locos Tacos shells. I would easily risk my employment to taste as many of those bad boys as possible too. (Note to my employers: just kidding! Please don't hurt me! No, no, not the belt again!)

To be honest, if those were Doritos Locos Taco shells, I'd still eat them whether some idiot behind the counter had licked them or not. Seriously, they could give those shells a tongue lashing directly in front of me, and as long as there was some faint remnant of Doritos flavor on them still, I'd scarf them down without question.

In all seriousness, though, there is close to zero chance that these taco shells were sold to anyone. They were probably just being thrown out, and the people working there for minimum wage wanted to have enough of a reason to crack the briefest of smiles before coming down to the reality that they work at a Taco Bell again. We've all been there, which makes the outrage over this kind of hilarious.

FOX News Latino (because regular FOX News employees refuse to eat at Taco Bell, presumably) reports that the employee has been fired. It's okay, man, there's always a job for you in our hearts.
