Fans expecting to wait another long week before getting a chance to listen to Stone Sour’s ‘House of Gold & Bones Part 2’ from start to finish are in for a treat. The band is streaming the whole disc now exclusively on their website. Check it out here.

With an April 9 release date, ‘House of Gold & Bones Part 2’ marks the second installment of the band’s ambitious two-part concept album that tells a story conceived by singer Corey Taylor.

Taylor took some time to explain Part 2 in his own words, saying, “Part 2 is the exciting conclusion. You will hear darkness. You will hear reflections of Part 1.” He continues, explaining, “You will see what's next. Most importantly, you will join the characters as they finally decide.”

The first single from the new disc, ‘Do Me A Favor,’ is currently spending some time on the active rock charts, climbing into the Top 10 this past week.

In addition to the two-part concept album, the first issue of ‘House of Gold & Bones’ comic series written by Taylor, and brought to life by the artwork of Richard Clarke and Jason Shawn Alexander, will be available on April 17. A trailer for the comic can be seen here.

Stone Sour will kick off their ‘Revolver Road To The Golden Gods’ tour with In This Moment and Hell or Highwater tonight (April 2) in Portland, Maine, with dates leading up to their performance at the 2013 Revolver Golden God Awards on May 2.
