Aerosmith is bringing the Global Warming Tour to Albany with special guest Cheap Trick on June 29th.  The tour is in support and will feature some new songs of their new album 'Music From Another Dimension' that will be released August 28th.  Rumor has it that there is a duet on the album that features Steven Tyler and Carrie Underwood.  Do you think that Carrie will walk out on the stage at Times Union Center to sing it?

It wouldn't surprise me if Carrie Underwood made a few special guest appearances on the Aerosmith tour.  She and Steven have somewhat of a connection to each other including American Idol.  Carrie was American Idol Season 4 winner, a show that Steven has been a judge on since season 10 and they have performed together in the past at ACM Awards.

Sources say the song is a smash, and would cross over to multiple radio formats for global success.  Supposedly the song had the final touches put on it by Underwood recently in Boston.

A fan who posted to facebook about the duet rumor deleted the comment as Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer threatened prosecution. Perhaps the rumor is true and perhaps Carrie Underwood would be on stage June 29th in Albany.  The only way to find out is to get tickets and be there in person!

On a side not American Idol season 11 runner up Lauren Alaina has contributed background vocals on the new Aerosmith album too.
