You know you were “born to be wild” as a rock fan!  Steppenwolf, singers of the famous hit “Born to Be Wild,” are going to be playing at the New York State Fair on August 27th for ‘Senior Day.’  That means that if you’re 60 and above, you get free admission to catch Steppenwolf rock! It’s also ‘Law Enforcement’ Day meaning that police and corrections officers also get free admission.  I read about this at newyorkupstate.com and got super excited, even though I am neither a senior or a law enforcement officer.  They’ll be performing with original singer John Kay, and you can get more information at the NYS Fair’s official website.  Other band’s playing at the fair include:

Eddie Money - Wednesday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m.
All Time Low - Thursday, Aug. 23 at 8 p.m.
