360 degree videos are becoming more popular these days, but you don't have to just relegate the visual to being a band performance. Starset have developed their own 360 degree lyric video for the brand new song "Ricochet," and it offers a more interesting narrative.

The clip, conceptualized by Starset leader Dustin Bates and directed by Bates and Denver Cavins, is primarily set in a hospital as a doctor oversees what appears to be a comatose patient, monitoring her progress as visions of her life are projected on a nearby hospital curtain and the lyrics pop up in different parts of the treatment area. Watch it all play out in the video above.

"Ricochet" is the third track to be released in advance of Starset's upcoming album, Vessels. The track follows on the heels of the radio hit "Monster" and the preview track "Back to the Earth," both of which are currently available as instant grat tracks for those who pre-order Vessels through iTunes. The album is also available to pre-order via Amazon and in physical bundle options via the band's online merch page.

Vessels, due out Jan. 20 on Razor & Tie, was recently voted by Loudwire's readers as the January 2017 Release of the Month. The band will hit the road in support of the album beginning Jan. 14 in Flint, Mich. See all of their scheduled dates here.
