Ask anyone who knows me about my Star Wars fandom, and they will tell you I use a Star Wars reference just about everyday. I visit Wookiepedia on a regular basis too, and proud of it. So when I discovered these Star Wars character thumb drives on ThinkGeek, I knew they would make a great stocking stuffer for the Star Wars geek on your list. Including me. (Hint Hint)

Star Wars Character Mimobot Thumb Drives

I always carry a thumb drive in my pocket, just in case I find something really cool from a friend or while I am out. Then I can save it and play with it later. But with these, I would be like a kid in a candy store. Dare I even say reenact the Carbonite scene from Empire with Han, Leia, Darth Vader and Boba Fett. They come in many of the characters from the Star Wars movies including, Darth Vader, C-3P0, R2-D2 and even Boba Fett! All of them are 4GB in capacity, high speed USB 2.0 and compatible with all of my favorite OSes, like Linux, Mac OS and even my lest favorite, Microsoft Windows.

And if you really want to see a geek squeal on Christmas Day like a little kid, throw in an R2-D2 or Darth Vader USB hub. Then just sit back with your video camera for instant YouTube material. Each of the drives are $25, which for a 4GB thumb drive is a little pricey. But from a collectors stand, they are a great addition for a reasonable cost.
