It has been 25 long years since we've seen the original cast of  Rob Reiner's take on a Stephen King Novel, the 1986 classic, Stand By Me, come together.   The fellas gathered at the Falcon Theater in Toluca Lake, California, just in time for the 25th anniversary DVD available March 22nd.

Reiner, Will Wheaton (Gordie Lachance), Corey Feldman (Teddy Duchamp), Jerry O'Connell (Vern Tessio) and Richard Dreyfuss (The Writer) all gathered for the preparation of the DVD release.  The film, easily one of my child hood faves, has Drefuss as an older Gordie Lahance writing about a day back in 1959 when four childhood friends venture on a bonding journey in search of a dead body they heard about.  Also on the way to the body is a young Keifer Sutherland who plays Ace Merrill, a bad boy gang leader.  Also making an appearance in the film is Gordie's older brother who was killed in the film, John Cusack.  A great story about young friends bonding before the go their separate ways in for the rest of their lives.
