Soundgarden to Record a New Album?

For the past few months, the members of Soundgarden have been spending time together, jamming , writing new material and pretty much trying to jump start Soundgarden again. It is their present plan or at least their present hope, to record a new album! Soundgarden was originally formed in Seattle in 1984, and the band of course, exploded in 1994 with the release of their album Superunknown which featured the tracks “Black Hole Sun”, ” Spoonman” and “Fell On Black Days”, but unfortunately they broke up in 1997 over concerns about the future direction of the band. Rumours of a Soundgarden reunion have been circulating for about the past year or so.
