Sonic Drive-In Opens Troy Location

Tots and Limeades are now available in Troy!

Sonic Drive-In has officially opened their second Capital Region location on Hossick St. in Troy. The new location comes after the major success of the first Capital Region location that opened in 2015 in Latham.

According to News 10 the grand opening ceremony and ribbon cutting happened earlier this morning at the new Troy location with plenty of local leaders on hand to celebrate.

Besides providing some 120 new jobs to the Capital Region I think I'm most excited to have another fast food option that serves tots (because tots!) and in my opinion has the best ice out of any fast food or restaurant chain I have ever been to. I know that is a weird reason to pick a fast food spot but I swear their ice like, never melts. So you can enjoy a nice cold beverage without it getting watered down all day!
