Okay, so The Fountain in Albany is exactly a diner. The food however is diner worthy, and some of the best in area.
If you are in the city of Albany and looking for some absolutely fantastic pizza, then look no further than The Fountain. Located on New Scotland Ave near in between St. Peters Hospital and Albany Med, it's right in the middle of the action.
This isn't the first time that I have mentioned The Fountain. It made my best pizza pick list at the beginning of the year. They aren't just pizza though. The Fountain has pretty much everything, and leans towards great Italian cooking. However, if you're looking for a burger they have that too.
Atmosphere is important everywhere, and the atmosphere at The Fountain is awesome. The staff is super friendly no matter how busy it is, and everyone from the neighborhood is there. It's like a home away from home. Good food, great prices, and a full stomach. Could you really ask for more?
