Solve This Rubicks Cube Before You Hit The Ground

Did I mention you'll be sky-diving?

Here's something you'll never catch me doing. In fact these are two things I can't/won't do separately.

Rubicks Cube: I don't have the patience for this. Apparently there's some sort of trick or strategy you can learn to solve it really fast, but I don't have time for that.

Sky Diving: That plane better be on fire, or have major engine trouble. You want me to jump out of a perfectly good airplane while flying. Nope.

So this guy may be the anti me. Not only did he jump out of a plane, he solved a Rubicks cube on the way. In fact he sort o put the cube first and the shoot second. I'm not gonna pretend to know anything at all about sky diving, but this guy waits far too long to open the shoot. Should I be able to clearly see ground objects before pulling the shoot? If the answer is yes, add it to the list of reasons why I won't be doing that.
