As we reported earlier this week, Slipknot / Stone Sour singer Corey Taylor was robbed of more than $36,000 worth of instruments and music gear, including two prized bass guitars from his late Slipknot bandmate Paul Gray. Now, there's good news to report, as Taylor has let fans know that 98 percent of the equipment has been recovered.

The Des Moines Register had reported that a friend of the Taylor family had stolen equipment from both the singer's West Des Moines, Iowa, home and his storage unit. The Slipknot frontman had been on tour at the time of the thefts. Apparently, suspicion arose when the purported thief tried to buy back some of the equipment from a local music store.

Next week, Corey Taylor will embark on a book-signing tour to promote his new tome, 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Heaven.' Check out the dates here.
