Slash, the former Guns N Roses guitarist is putting the finishing touches on a new solo album with Alter Bridge lead singer Myles Kennedy.  Today he announced a small U.S. Tour in support of the untitled album that will be in stores May 22nd.  The tour will kick off on May 3rd and include some rock festivals like Carolina Rebellion, Rock On The Range and Rocklahoma.  Tickets go on sale Friday. 

The tour kicks off in Baltimore, MD and runs for just 13 dates, wrapping May 26 in Albuquerque, NM.  Although Slash is recording his upcoming album with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, there's no clear indication yet whether they'll be joining Slash on the road.

In other news, Slash will appear as part of an all-star lineup and Muhammad Ali's 70th birthday celebration Saturday, February 18 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Titled Power of Love Gala, it'll be broadcast on ABC the following Saturday, February 25.
