Congrats to Skillet, as the band is keeping hard rock near the top of the charts with their Unleashed album. The disc debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 album chart this past week.

The album reached the 58,000 mark in terms of traditional sales (62,000 in equivalent album units, which includes streaming), good enough to help it place third on this week's chart. This marks the band's third straight album to debut inside the Billboard Top 5, with Rise arriving at No. 4 and Awake landing at No. 2 during their debut weeks.

"I am so blown away by the loyalty of our fans once again. It is such a huge honor to keep making music that people resonate with. This week was more than we hoped for," says Skillet vocalist John Cooper.

Unleashed also landed at No. 2 on the Billboard Top Albums Chart, No. 2 on the Digital Albums Chart, and No. 3 on the Physical Albums Chart. The album shot to No. 1 on the iTunes Rock Albums chart and No. 2 on the Top Albums chart when it was released last Friday.

Skillet are definitely on a hot streak. Their video for the single "Feel Invincible" just completed five weeks at No. 1 on Loudwire's Battle Royale Video Countdown, while the song itself was also retired to the Cage Match Hall of Fame. The track has been used by the WWE in their Battleground Pay-Per-View and Nickelodeon used it for their Kids Choice Sports Awards. Meanwhile, the ACC has picked the song to soundtrack their football coverage throughout the fall 2016 season.

The band has a busy fall ahead of them with tour dates booked all the way into December. They'll share stages with Thousand Foot Krutch, Sick Puppies, Devour the Day and Red Sun Rising over the the coming months. Keep up with their touring here.
