Skillet's John Cooper had no idea what he was in for when he agreed to an interview before a performance to promote the band's new album, Unleashed, out today.

The singer caught up with Nick Kessler of Q103 in Albany and the interview was, well, awkward.

Kessler kicked it off by calling John "Jim" by accident, which Cooper promptly corrected.

Cooper had his moments as well, like telling Kessler he can call him "the doggie," and explaining to Kessler that his sister is not in the band (Cooper's wife is).

"We've been called siblings a lot, but we're not, it's not like a 'Game of Thrones' thing,'" he said.

Unleashed is out today and available in stores and on iTunes.
