An employee at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs has complained to the administration over posters that have appeared in the bathrooms of both sexes - posters that are a "how to masturbate" lesson. I don't mean to point out the obvious here but isn't this something you should have already figured out by the time you get to college? I mean really? If you can't figure this part of life out, maybe you shouldn't be in college at all.

The posters are apparently part of a series that the college's "Center for Sex and Gender" publishes and these particular instructions are intended to help students find a path to the relief of stress.

These posters aren't regulated to the dorms either - the Times Union has a photo of one of the posters which is hanging in the library ladies room stall, right next to the toilet.

Sure, the posters aren't graphic and I wouldn't find them offensive but is there really a need for these? I can't wrap my mind about anyone needing this sort of instruction in their late teens and early twenties! What's next in the series - how to breathe air? How to open a door?
