I got a chance to catch up with Sixx: A.M. just before their set at Rock'N Derby to talk about things like their new records and such ... listen to what they had to say about Prayers for the Damned Volumes 1 & 2 and maybe about a little somethen' somethen' to celebrate a bit of a milestone next year.

Let me start by setting the mood for you ... it's day 3 of Rock'N Derby out at the Schaghticoke Fairgrounds. Now it's been an absolutely AMAZING weekend all ready and the last day of the festival is staked with a killer lineup. We had just got done wrapping up our live broadcast, which included many bands dropping by all day to say 'Hi' and what not, it's just about time to go enjoy the tunes when we get word we got an invite over at Sixx: A.M.'s trailer for one last interview.

The weather guy that lives in the app on my phone said it was supposed to be raining most of the day but had pretty much held off up until this point and it was actually quite warm out but nothing, nothing like the extreme sauna that for some reason was the Sixx: A.M. trailer.

James Michael and DJ Ashba were super gracious hosts and welcomed us in with open arms and we began to chat a bit. After the initial introductions I think I kind of browned out a bit because I don't remember much of the interview. I'm not sure if it was the heat in that box, or a slight case of me fangirling out, or the fact that that DJ Ashba's piercing blue eyes were staring directly into my soul and it was impairing my ability to function as a person but I do know that I'm missing some pieces of time here.

Luckily for us I recorded to the whole encounter so we can relive it together! Go ahead hit play ...
