If you were to ask the infamous post-Super Bowl win question "Hey, Russell Wilson, you and the Seahawks just won the Super Bowl! What are you going to do now?" you'd think the answer would be "I'm going to Disney World!" right? Wrong. This QB has other plans this spring.

Turns out, before he was the Seahawks 12th pick in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft, Wilson had been drafted twice by the MLB. The first time was in 2007 when the Baltimore Orioles picked him up in the 41st round, but he instead decided to go to NC State in the fall to play football and baseball. Oppurtunity came knockin' again in the 2010 MLB Draft and this time, he opened the door. The Colorado Rockies had Wilson play at second base for the Tri-City Dust Devils, their Class A Short Season affiliate. He finished the season with 2 homeruns, 11 RBIs and a .230 batting average.

Wilson had intentions he'd report back to the Rockies spring training in 2011, but opted to head to the University of Wisconsin–Madison to play football as a senior, and was then picked up by the Seahawks in 2012.

While Wilson was reaching for his Super Bowl Champion dreams, the Texas Rangers picked up Wilson according to the Rule 5 draft in December.

Considering he just won the Super Bowl and all - I'm sure no one would fault him for opting out of training camp when the Rangers get started. But, per his baseball agent, Russell has every intention of being there according to his baseball agent, Mark Rodgers.

While Wilson isn't expected to become an everyday player for the Minor or Major League teams, his appearance at camp would probably be more of a motivation pep talk and photo op type of experience for the team. It can't hurt at this point, anyway. Up until Sunday, Wilson's team had never won a championship - something they had in common with the Rangers.

So, when the Rangers full squad reports to Surprise Stadium in Surprise, Arizona on February 19th, do you think Wilson will be with them?
