When you're making the decision to commit a crime, I've always been told to make it a big one, so it seems worth it when they finally catch you. This 17-year old from Schenectady does not share my thinking.

Early Saturday morning, St. Adalbert's Church in Schenectady was broken into. A window was smashed with the butt of a rifle and a 12-pack of A&W root beer was stolen. So far, worth it.

Officers arrived while the teen was still on the scene it seems, as he dropped the rifle, root beer and ran. Police caught up to him quickly and he's now facing charges of second-degree burglary and resisting arrest.
