Schenectady Sleepwalking Burglar?

There's a new supervillain in town, he just may not be aware of it yet.

A car was found parked illegally in Schenectady Wednesday morning blocking a driveway. Inside police found several pilfered items, according to News Channel 13. Police recognized the car, and after towing it had reports of a man having trouble standing and walking.

As it turns out, this was the owner of the car, who had more stolen items in his pocket. The 27-year-old who has already been accused of stealing from cars in the past, claimed he must have been sleep walking.

I'll be honest with you. Sleep walking, amnesia, I've always thought these were fake. Mostly because the only way I know about these conditions at all are through movies and TV. They probably do really exist in some portion of the population, but man do they just seem like the perfect get out of jail free card.

This guy is due in court today, and I'm sure he has a rock solid way of proving he was sleepwalking.
