Saturday, January 7: Tig’s Rock Birthdays

Happy Birthday today (Jan. 7) to Ivan Moody. The Five Finger Death Punch frontman is 37.

Five Finger Death Punch formed out of Las Vegas, Nevada in 2005. The current lineup features lead by singer Ivan Moody along with guitarists Zoltan Bathory and Jason Hook, drummer Jeremy Spencer and bassist Chris Kael. The band's last studio album was 2015's Got Your Six which featured several singles including “Jeckyl and Hyde”, Wash It All Away”, “My Nemesis”, and “I Apologize”. The band toured this past fall with Shinedown and Sixx:A.M. and recently revealed that they've finished work on their new studio album due out later this year.

I got to see Five Finger Death Punch back in May 20165 when they headlined the first night of the Rock N' Derby Music Festival  and we had a chance to chat with Ivan Moody when he mad a surprise visit to the Q103 broadcast. Check out the video below.
