Some people just don't learn the first time. As is the case with Frank Shattuck, 26, of Saratoga Springs. Frank was in jail after an altercation with the mother of his child. He posted bail and went to the woman's house to further the altercation.

Frank attacked the woman in front of their infant child after forcing his way in to her home.

According to police reports:

It is alleged that after his release from jail, Shattuck drove to the apartment where his child's mother lived, kicked in the door and struck her repeatedly about the face and head with a closed fist, while their infant child was present

Thankfully, two neighbors heard the woman's screams and came to her aid. They pinned Shattuck down until police could arrive to the scene. The woman was taken to the hospital with "serious facial injuries".

Shattuck was charged with burglary, felony assault, criminal contempt and endangering the welfare of a child; he is being held without bail. According to court documents, he was to have no contact with the woman for any reason.
