Swedish power metal band Sabaton is set to play Upstate Concert Hall this Sunday, April 23. Doors at 6pm, showtime 7pm.

Sabaton is led by vocalist Joakim Broden and the band has released eight studio albums over the years with their latest being 2016's The Last Stand on Nuclear Blast Records. I once saw Sabaton play many years back at a small New York club in front of a crowd of about twenty people. They have since grown in popularity in the U.S. and have developed a much bigger following. Last year I saw them on tour opening for Trivium and they totally kicked ass. You gotta check this band out live if you haven't seen them before. If you are familiar with them and have seen them before, I'm sure you plan on being at this show.

Tickets for Sabaton with guests Leaves Eyes' and Battle Beast are $25 in advance, $35 day of show and are on sale through the Upstate Concert Hall box office in Clifton Park at 518-371-0012 and ticketmaster.com
