Royal Blood Play Upstate Concert Hall Tonight
Q103 welcomes Royal Blood to Upstate Concert Hall tonight (July 31). Showtime 8pm.
Royal Blood formed out of Brighton in 2013 and features singer/bassist Mike Kerr and drummer Ben Thatcher. They released their debut album Royal Blood in 2014 and a second release, How Did We Get So Dark? in June of this year. The duo is signed to Warner Bros. Records. Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page was quoted as saying the following about the band in November of 2014. “I went to hear them in New York. They were fantastic. Absolutely riveting, they’re such fine musicians. Their album has taken the genre up a serious few notches. It’s so refreshing to hear, because they play with the spirit of the things that have preceded them, but you can hear they’re going to take rock into a new realm – if they’re not already doing that. It’s music of tremendous quality.” Don’t miss what is sure to be a great rock show when Royal Blood return to Upstate tonight!
Tickets for Royal Blood at Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park are $25 day and are on sale through the club box office at 518-371-0012. Tickets will be available at the door tonight.
