Route 146 Paving In Guilderland Starts Today. Prepare For Delays.

The new repaving project along Route 146 in Guilderland has begun. The New York State Department of Transportation will be paving along the route from Route 20 to Simmons Lane, near the Village of Altamont, from now until mid-August.

Delays are expected as motorist will be using one lane for both directions with a flaggers controlling traffic flow. The work will take place 9:00 am to 2:30 pm.

This is the first phase of the resurfacing project for the 5 miles stretch of 146 and is planned on being completed by August 11th.
