Ronda Rousey was in town today. While she'd like it to be for an MMA match, she's here to talk to Governor Cuomo about legalizing MMA in the state.

I'm actually very confused why MMA isn't here already. We're good with boxing, but kicks, that's over the line. News Channel 13 brings up a good point though, that with Sheldon Silver stepping down as speaker, the situation has changed. The new speaker is Carl Heastie who has previously co-sponsored a bill to legalize MMA in New York. MMA may have a fighting chance after all.
