Ron Burgundy Impression On Local News Broadcast [VIDEO]

Check out this bro doing his entire sports segment as Will Ferrell’s character Ron Burgundy from Anchorman. I’m not certain how I feel about this just yet. I mean, I dig the whole idea of really going for it and spicing up a crappy local news show, but it’s not exactly worthy of an "A."

This guy’s mustache is a little less Ron Burgundy and closer to Hitler size. Sure, they don’t have professional wardrobe people on board so I’ll cut him slack on that. However the voice and overall impression are a bit weak. Solid safe move dropping direct quotes from the movie to create some authenticity, but keep the inflection a little hotter.

So do I hate this? No, but can’t say I love it either. Nice work.
