It's amazing how far the reach of Steve Jobs got.  It was some sad news last night when Apple officially announced that he had died.  My personal facebook page blew up with people talking about it, and though many of us didn't know him, we carry a piece of him with us almost everyday whether it's with an iPhone, iPod or iPad.

Poison frontman Bret Michaels weighed in on twitter, but also posted a very personal message about Jobs on his official myspace blog as well.  Here is the official statement from Michaels:

First I must express my deepest condolences to Steve's wife Laurene, his family and friends. He showed great strength and perseverance through his illness and continued to be an innovator all the while remaining positive while fighting his battle with cancer. I can only thank Steve for his innovation, inspiration and creativity while touching all of our lives in some way shape or form. Again my condolences. He will be missed.

-Bret Michaels

Other guys around the rock world were also feeling the tragedy and made twitter posts about his death.  Dee Snider, Fred Durst, Nikki Sixx, Joe Satriani and more weigh in on Steve Jobs.
