A Pennsylvania is arrested in Albany for robber after only getting a dime for his troubles.

The reported incident happened on South Pearl Street on June 27.

A female victim called police saying a man, later identified as Charlie Phelps, approached her with a hypodermic needle and demanded money.

Bystanders stepped in to prevent the robbery and Phelps fled on foot with a whole whopping ten cent score.

Police caught with Phelps because those bystanders that helped the woman followed him. He was arrested without incident. He presently in Albany County Jail on charges of Robbery and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
