Ring Girl Competition for the KO at the TU
Do you consider yourself a knockout? Do you love seeing people get knocked out? If so, this can be your chance to represent Albany as a ring girl for the upcoming boxing matches taking place in the Capital District, KO at the TU. The event is taking place at the Times Union Center, and will be hosting its first boxing match in 15 years.
There are several perks to the grand prize winner of the competition. It will not only boost your modeling portfolio, but it will also give you the opportunity to boost your acting portfolio too. After participating as a ring girl for one of the KO at the TU matches, the grand prize winner will then put her acting skills to the test. The upcoming movie, The Challenger, will be taping after the boxing event. The winning ring girl will be taking that same role in the movie, as well. The Challenger is starring Michael Rivera, Kent Moran, and Ernie Sabella.
So, do you think you have what it takes? Join us at Savannah’s, 1 South Pearl Street in Albany this Friday, January 27th and next Friday, February 3rd beginning at 10pm. You must at least be 21 to enter this competition. Bikini’s are strongly encouraged but not required. Two (2) finalists will be chosen each night based on crowd participation. This means you should bring all of your friends to cheer you on. Finalists will then square off against each other on Friday, February 3rd to crown the winner.
So, gather your friends and head down to downtown Albany this Friday. Whether you're there to check out the girls or compete against the girls, it will be a lot of fun. Either way, it's a win-win situation.
