Red Hot Chili Peppers are in the studio right now working on a new album, the follow-up to their 2006 double album, Stadium Arcadium.

The album should be out June/July of 2011.

Tour is already confirmed for 2011-2012 and will supposedly start in Summer 2011. Rock In Rio sep 24th 2011 and Summer Sonic Festival in Japan already confirmed. Anthony also confirmed they'll play in Peru & Colombia at some point, but no specific dates or venues announced yet.

2011 marks the 20th anniversary of The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Blood Sugar Sex Magik album.
