The Red Hot Chili Peppers recently announced six dates with the promise of more.  They have made good on their promise and have announced ten more dates in January, February and March of 2012.   Most of the dates are in arena sized venues, so be ready for a big North American tour!

Over the past few months Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer have been touring in Europe to support the band’s new album  I’m With You.

Anthony recently told the Mirror that getting clean and sober, plus being a dad, has kept him grounded.  “It’s been a good few years,” Kiedis said. “The greatest thing for me was becoming a dad and the really good fortune of not having to work or go on the road for the first two years of my son’s life. I recently moved to the seashore and having this little person in my arms walking through the sand dunes looking at the ocean was just what the doctor ordered. It was a reawakening for me in terms of being an elated human being.”  Kiedis added that his son has tagged along on tour with him!
