I once thought the best way to dispose of my old outdated electronics was to fill up my '98 cavalier and drive it into the Hudson River. As it turns out, I was wrong and Hudson Valley Community College has a better solution.

Today (May 2) you can bring your old electronics to the HVCC campus and have them recycled for free. You get rid of your heavy boat anchors and have the self satisfaction of knowing you may have helped protect our environment a little longer. Bring your old printers, computer towers, scanners, monitors and more to Lot A at HVCC and then slap on a smug, self-gratifying smile. Later on tonight you can brag to everyone who throws their computers in the trash about how much better you are than they are.

NOTE: $5 charge for monitors
