Getting ran over by your own car sucks. Getting a ticket for said incident is just insult to injury, literally. Brian Reynolds found this out the hard way.

Brian was driving his 1987 Chevy truck in Lynn, Mass when the breaks failed and he tried to stop it - with his own feet. Yeah, not the most brilliant idea. He opened up the driver side door and attempted the act on an decline.

That didn't work so Brian drove the truck off the road. With the door still wide open, he fell out and his left leg was ran over by the runaway truck. The truck would eventually stop because it hit a fire hydrant.

Brian received medical treatment for "minor injuries" to his leg. He might have needed more medical help from the heart attack he probably had when the police handed him a ticket for "driving with defective equipment."

The ticket was only $35 but still, it's the principal.
