Queensryche will release their new album titled Condition Hüman in October. To celebrate the upcoming release, the band has unveiled their first new song off the effort “Arrow of Time.” Check out the song in the player below.

After a turbulent couple of years that saw a long, drawn out and bitter split between Queensryche and original singer Geoff Tate, the band is back with a vengeance. Condition Hüman is the first new Queensryche album since 2013’s self-titled effort. It was produced by Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed, Sanctuary) and recorded in the band’s home state of Washington. The album will be released on Oct. 2, via Century Media Records and is available for pre-order here.

The band has released the epic album-opening track, “Arrow of Time,” which you can listen to below. The song features some standout guitar work from Michael Wilton and Parker Lundgren, including some amazing dual harmony leads. The track also boasts some vintage Queensryche progressive time signature shifts, crunchy riffs and powerful vocals from Todd LaTorre.

Back in November, Queensryche launched the ‘Building The Empire’ pre-order campaign that offered the group’s hardcore fan base everything from limited edition vinyl and merchandise to the actual instruments played on the upcoming album and a chance to hang with the band in their hometown of Seattle.

The news of the upcoming album comes on the heels of Geoff Tate's recent announcement of the September release of The Key, the debut album from his new band Operation: Mindcrime.

Queensryche will join the Scorpions for a North American tour starting on Sept. 10 in Boston and wrapping on Oct. 9 in their home city of Seattle. Check all their tour dates below.
